DIY Apothecary Candy Jar Decoration – a Tutorial
I was asked to help make a craft for our upcoming Super Saturday. (A fun day of crafts at my church) So I came up with these adorable Apothecary Candy Jars that make a perfect decorative piece for your home. Can you believe it’s already October! I love fall, it’s my favorite season. I love the leaves changing colors, falling from the trees, leaf piles, the pumpkin patch, apples, hot cocoa, apple cider, trunk or treat, thanksgiving…..the list goes on and on! 3 of my cuties were born in the fall too! Felt Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Tutorial-Part 4
I am so excited to finally post the final Part to our Felt Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Tutorial! In case you missed it here is PART 1, PART 2, and PART 3. Now that you’re all caught up lets finish up our Advent Calendar! Finish Circles: Now that your circles are all completed its time to iron on some interfacing to the back side. Just a little treat idea for all those wonderful dads out there for Father’s Day. We made these for all the men at our church to hand out on this coming Father’s Day…. Supplies: Printable (download HERE) Small Clear baggies (found at the craft store or party store) Hugs and Kisses Stapler or scotch tape *Fill your baggies with hugs and kisses. Father’s Day Shirt and Tie Cake (or Men’s Bithday Cake Idea)
Father’s Day is just around the corner. If you are trying to think of a fun treat to make I’ve got the perfect idea for you…a Shirt and Tie cake. It’s really simple to make too! You will need: Marshmallow Fondant (find recipe HERE) 9×13 cake (We just baked a yellow box cake flipped upside down on foil covered box) White frosting (I just buy some in the little tub at the store) Food Coloring (I used Blue for the tie) Tools: Rolling pin, stencil, button, knife.
