    Necklace T-Shirt

    March 10, 2011 /

Saw this awesome idea to paint a necklace on my little girls t-shirt. You can find the tutorial HERE… and I just had to make one for my little Samantha. It is really easy to make and you can add a little fabric flower to embellish it even more! Easy to do and very cute. The only advice I would give is to put more paint than you think on each dot. The more paint the puffier the dot after you steam it. The fabric paint is called “Velveteen” written up on the top edge of the bottle of fabric paint found at the craft store. It was intermixed with all the other…

Baby Snuggler and Tinkerbell Costume in Progress..

    August 26, 2010 /

Baby Snuggler… Saw this pattern and just had to make one for the one on the way! Just need to add the velcro. Tinkerbell Costume… My daughter Sam wants a Tinkerbell party for her 5th birthday in Nov. Our Baby is due in Oct. So I am getting a head start, and hoping she will want to wear her tinkerbell (pink) costume for Halloween as well. It is a work in progress and the pattern was very difficult to figure out but putting it together hasn’t been too bad. (by the way this is a Simplicity pattern you can find at JoAnns) To view more please visit my blog!

    Baby Shower for Isaac

    May 13, 2010 /

I threw a baby shower last weekend for my girlfriend who had just had a baby boy Isaac. Here is the diaper cake I made…inspired by this shower I saw Brunch…food table (cinnamon rolls, strawberries, sticky buns orange juice) The blue/orange/green cupcake! The pom-poms hanging from the ceiling… The Fish… One of the game prizes….I modge podged some cute paper onto a journal (front and back) and pasted a label on…too cute! Baby Match Game! (poster board/words printed and glued on/numbered sticky notes over each word) It’s just like memory. Match the baby words and get the candy prize. For example “Non-lactating Breasts” you win Milk Duds candy, “contractions” you…

Boy Shoes and a Tie Appliqued Onesie

    April 2, 2009 /

Another Pair of Baby Boy Shoes! Here is what you will need to do an applique. Fusible Web (JoAnn’s has it in the pack-pictured below). Some cute fabric and a onesie. In the middle you will see the tie cut out of the fusible web. You attach it to the fabric and the onesie and then Iron (it fuses on both sides, its like double sided interfacing). Then stitch around the edge. Turned out so cute!! And it is so fast and easy. To view more please visit my blog!
