    November 18, 2015 /

Trying to think of the perfect gift for your friend, neighbor, family, teacher, etc? These little reusable hand warmers are the perfect fall/winter gift for anyone in your life. I made them last year for my kids teachers and some gals I visit teach! You can make them with any design fabric. Kids love them too! Just pop these little babies in the microwave for 30 seconds and put in your pockets to keep your fingers warm while out in the cold. Easy and fun to make, the kids will love helping fill them with rice. Enjoy the tutorial! Supplies: Fabric (small 4-1/2″x 4-1/2″ squares) cotton, and snuggle flannel or…

My Mom and I made these when she came to visit a while back. We used glass rocks (1″) that are flat on one side, cut pictures of each of her grandchildren, and glued them on. Then we added a magnet to the back. I made them for my Mother-in-law as well and she loved them!! They make a great gift for loved ones during the Holidays! Lego Storage Container

    August 22, 2015 /

Our kids LOVE Legos! And if you’re reading this I’m guessing your kids do too! You may remember the post where we shared the Lego Drawers we built for our son not to long ago. Our daughter also has a few sets of girl Lego Friends and we needed a good way to store them when she wasn’t playing with them. However, she doesn’t have quite the amount of Legos as her brother so I decided to make something a little more simple for her Legos… this recycled Lego Storage Container. It’s made from an old cheese ball container! Recycling at its finest! It turned out so cute, and she loves it. And if you’re sick of…

Valentine Ideas for Kids – Part 3

    February 6, 2015 /

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I have some great ideas for you this year! Last years Valentines were such a huge hit. My kids love taking personalized homemade Valentines to their classroom Valentines Day Party. This year I wanted to make a couple non-candy Valentines. And here they are… Sam’s “You are ex-STRAW special” Valentine… I did the same thing as last year for the photo (click here for the tutorial). Once I had the pictures printed we cut a small hole where the “glow bracelet” inserts and slid it through, then use a piece of tape on the back side to hold it in place. I got…
