    ‘Clean for Candy’ Printable

    November 2, 2015 /

Looking for the perfect way to limit your kids Halloween Candy and get your House Clean at the same time?!?! We call it the ‘Clean for Candy’ system at our house! The kids each have a small amount of Halloween Candy leftover from the holiday weekend and since I don’t want a bunch of sick kid,s I ration the candy out throughout the week. Each day they can choose a few chores to do and earn a piece of candy for doing that chore (we also have the option of getting a dime/quarter instead if they don’t want to eat candy, but lets be honest they always go for the candy!!) September 17, 2015 /

During the Summer the Stake (an organization in my church) held an Activity Day Girls 2-day Event called ‘GLOW’ which stands for ‘Go Light Our World.’ My friend Rachel was in charge of decorating the gym and she did an amazing job. I hope you can get some good ideas for decorating and planning your own Activity Day event! The gym was decorated so nicely…. Here is a list of the classes they went to: and here are some of the crafts and activities they got to take home…   *I didn’t stay for the whole event but I will give you a little idea on how the activity went… The event lasted 2 days,  Friday…

    Lego Storage Container

    August 22, 2015 /

Our kids LOVE Legos! And if you’re reading this I’m guessing your kids do too! You may remember the post where we shared the Lego Drawers we built for our son not to long ago. Our daughter also has a few sets of girl Lego Friends and we needed a good way to store them when she wasn’t playing with them. However, she doesn’t have quite the amount of Legos as her brother so I decided to make something a little more simple for her Legos… this recycled Lego Storage Container. It’s made from an old cheese ball container! Recycling at its finest! It turned out so cute, and she loves it. And if you’re sick of…

    July 1, 2015 /

I’ve got a new and exciting part of the blog – some call it vlogging (video blogging). Featuring my 2 cuties Samantha age 9 and Ella age 4. All my kids love to do crafts! Thus ‘Sam and Ella’s Crafty Creations’ was born. These girls are so fun and Sam does such a great job describing how to make things and helping her little sister make crafts. So for…
