Trick or Treat Halloween Decorative Pillows
Perfect Halloween Decor for your front porch! Trick or Treat burlap pillows. All you need is some burlap, stuffing, contact paper or vinyl, cutter, orange glitter spray paint and a sewing machine. I found the idea and tutorial HERE Her set of pillows are just too cute!! So I had to make my own! *Cut out your squares for pillows. You will need 6 total. Sew all but 1 side together. Butterfly Wall Hanging
My Grandma loves Butterflies…. She is an incredible seamstress and I love her to pieces. I made her this wall hanging for her 89th birthday, she loved it! I made this adorable plaque for my best friend’s daughter! If you ever want to find the perfect gift for your friend just check out their pinterest boards! I found lots of cute pins on her board that said “You are my Sunshine” I had this really cute wood plaque from Hobby Lobby in my craft stash. Shabby Apple Dare to Design Dress Submission… I am so excited to share with you all my 1940’s Dress Design submission for Shabby Apples Design Contest. This dress would look great in many colors, but I just love a cute print. Navy with white polka dots would look great, or even a crimson red or Tiffany blue. I used a cotton print that flows nicely and is very comfortable. I was inspired by the 1940’s dresses that had fitted waist lines and were accented with a contrasting trim. Search and Rescue – Gospel First Aid Scavenger Hunt
Last year I helped with an activity for a Priest/Laurel conference. The theme was “Search and Rescue” we wanted to give the kids a small first aid kit to keep in their purse or car. So we came up with these. Using some old prescription bottles, I cut some vinyl using my silhouette and put it on the front. Child/Toddler and Baby Halloween Costumes
I love to make my kids Halloween Costumes!! Here are a few I have made over the years! Our little Candy corn, made out of felt using the Candy Corn Simplicity Pattern for dummies, and then I made matching shoes and bag, she was so cute!! Butterfly Fairy, made some wings using foam, fabric and some rhinestones, with some elastic arm straps. Made a pink and purple tutu to match! She looked adorable again! Sandcastles
Sandcastles…. When we lived up in Birch Bay, Wa. We loved to visit the beach! We had some friends come to visit and took them to the beach where the boys had fun entering the sandcastle contest with this shark… Here are some more sand art pictures… mermaid Alien Spaceship… Skull… Octopus… Castle… A dog and his bone… So go visit the beach this summer and have fun building one these!!
