Last year I made a top ten list of some great Homemade Gift Ideas for the women in your life; moms, grandmas, sisters, girlfriends, teachers, neighbors. It has been such a hit I decided to make another list for 2013! And here it is…. Collage frame with poem, a perfect gift for Grandma! Butterfly Wall Hanging
My Grandma loves Butterflies…. She is an incredible seamstress and I love her to pieces. I made her this wall hanging for her 89th birthday, she loved it! The Quote: “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over…it became a butterfly. The back….I hand stitched 2 ribbon loops for hanging! The wings are 3 dimensional! Father’s Day Candy Bouquet
Here’s a cute idea for a Father’s Day gift or Valentine’s Day gift for daddy!! A candy bouquet…would be great as a teacher’s gift as well, maybe put a sign on it that says “your the sweetest!” Gather your supplies…. variety of candy bars, sticks, whoppers, Styrofoam(or extra whoppers), tissue paper or other embellishments… Cut off top of Whoppers box… Put Styrofoam in the whopper container and a square piece of paper..fill back up with whoppers, you could also just buy extra whoppers so they fill to the top! Tape your sticks to the back of the candy bars. Place Stick candy along edge of whopper container… I added little Tie…
