Shabby Apple Dare to Design Dress Submission… I am so excited to share with you all my 1940’s Dress Design submission for Shabby Apples Design Contest. This dress would look great in many colors, but I just love a cute print. Navy with white polka dots would look great, or even a crimson red or Tiffany blue. I used a cotton print that flows nicely and is very comfortable. I was inspired by the 1940’s dresses that had fitted waist lines and were accented with a contrasting trim.
