Candy Jar Decoration

A cute and fun way to display your little treats!

Here’s what you need. A small terra cotta pot, and base for lid. Round Glass bowl (found mine at the $1 store.) Paint color of choice, paint brush (or use spray paint), gloss top coat, wood ball with flat side, vinyl, candy…

Start by painting your pot,lid and ball…

Should look like this….

Once dry, spray with a clear gloss finishing spray…

Then embellish as desired….you could paint a design on it before you spray with gloss or put vinyl cutouts on it like I did…

Vinyl on the Glass Bowl…

You can use any kind of ribbon you like but I like to use wired ribbon, then I pull the wire out of one of the ends to gather it…

I did that to both sides and then swirled it in a circle to make a flower…

With a strong hot glue I attached the glass bowl to the pot and hot glued the ribbon in place and glued the ball on the lid as well…

Fill with your favorite candy and enjoy!
